Beach clean ups:
Beach clean ups do more than just remove trash from our beaches and ocean! They help us identify the trends of marine debris (trash), and help us find innovative solutions to this growing problem. They also raise awareness within the community.

To date Seafoam Project Volunteers have removed:

+ 13,729 items of marine debris removed Storm Drain Stenciling:
Stenciling storm drains is a great way to keep communities aware of where storm water runoff ends up, which is straight to our waterways and ocean.

To date Seafoam Project Volunteers have stenciled:

21 storm drains
We here at Seafoam Project love to celebrate! Though, we tend to use any excuse to celebrate (can you blame us?). Well, here is another one: Seafoam Project’s goal of removing 50,000 items of trash from the beach.
The plan starts with choosing a date that we must meet our goal by. With many dates to choose from (Earth Day, our anniversary, first day of summer...) we decided to create our own special day: the Official Seafoam Project Day! What day should you mark your calendar you ask? September 19th! And yes, it is the same day as the International Beach clean up! We think it works out perfectly!

Help us meet our goal of removing 50,000 items of trash from the beach!
13,729 items removed
Currently Seafoam Project volunteers have removed over 13,729 items of trash from our beaches. So please join our efforts and come to our many events and clean ups - including our monthly beach clean up - and help us reach our goal of removing 50,000 items of trash from our beaches!
